MotoGP riders battle for BMW M Award

Tomorrow’s session at the MotoGP Official Test will play host to the main attraction of the week: The BMW M Award. A frenetic forty minutes in which all riders are encouraged to push their bikes to the maximum, the owner of the fastest lap during the time period will take home a brand new BMW Z4 M Roadster.

The previous winners of the award will both be present at the televised session. Valentino Rossi won in 2004 in his first official ride with the Yamaha team, whilst 2005’s victor Sete Gibernau will be aiming to add another car to his collection with a fast lap on the Ducati GP6.

The whole of the action packed 40 minutes will be streamed live on motogp.com to subscribers, with coverage starting at 2pm local time. You can also take part in this week’s motogp.com survey, predicting the winner of the award.
